Question Tag എഴുതുവാൻ താഴെപ്പറയുന്ന rules പഠിക്കുക
(1) Equation
helping verb+ Subject?
Or
helping verb n’t+ Subject?
(2) Sentence പോസിറ്റീവ് ആണെങ്കിൽ
Tag negative ആയിരിക്കണം.
eg: She is writting a letter,......?
isn't she ?
(3) Sentence നെഗറ്റീവ് ആണെങ്കിൽ
Tag Positive ആയിരിക്കണം.
(Not -ൻ്റെ അർത്ഥം വരുന്ന Sentence-കൾ നെഗറ്റീവ് ആണ്)
eg:She is not writting a letter,......?
is she ?
(ഈ പറയുന്ന വാക്കുകൾക്ക് not ൻ്റെ അർത്ഥമാണ് No,not,none,never,rarely,hardly,scarcely,seldom,barely
neither,no one,nobody,nor,nothing, nowhere,little,few
ഇവ sentence -ൽ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ Tag positive ആയിരിക്കണം.)
(4) Tag സൃഷ്ടിക്കുവാൻ ഒരു helping verb (auxiliary verb) വേണം.
24 Auxiliary verb-കൾ ഉണ്ട്.

ought,dare

eg:He has lowered his head, hasn't he?
He dare not talk so,dare he?
She need not go there,need she?
(5) Sentence-ൽ helping verb ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ Tag സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്ന വിധം.
Sentence-ലെ Main verb ഏതു verb ലാണ് എന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തണം.
Present ആണെങ്കിൽ do or does ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
Past ആണെങ്കിൽ did ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
(താഴെക്കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഉദാഹരണത്തിൽ helping verb ഇല്ല. Tag എഴുതുവാൻ വേണ്ടി Helping verb ഇവിടെ കണ്ടെത്തണം.
അതിന് ആദ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് ചോദ്യത്തിലെ main verb - Present tense ആണോ Past Tense ആണോ എന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തണം.അതിന് verb ൻ്റെ മൂന്നു രൂപം കണ്ടെത്തണം)

(ആദ്യത്തെ ഉദാഹരണത്തിൽ Stand ആയതിനാൽ Present Tense ആണ്.

(6) Noun-ന് പകരം Pronoun ആണ് Tag -ൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടത്.

(7) Sentence-ൽ there,this,that,those എന്നിവ സബ്ജക്ട് ആയി
വന്നാൽ question tag’s subject reported speech rules ൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
eg:That is his car,isn’t it?
That is my pen,isn’t it?
(8) Sentence-ൽ no one,anyone, someone,everyone,somebody എന്നിവ സബ്ജക്ട് ആയി വന്നാൽ Tag-ൽ They ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
Someone should be there, won’t they?
Nobody has listened, have they?
None can do so, can they?
Everyone attended the ceremony, didn’t they?
(9) let’s-ൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന sentence- ൽ shall we ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
Let’s go, shall we?
Let’s play, shall we?
Let’s dance, shall we?
(10) Affirmative Sentences-ൽ
I am a teacher, aren't i?
Ramesh is intelligent, isn’t he?
You are running for election, aren’t you?
He lived in Delhi, didn’t he?
(11) Interrogative Sentences-ൽ
Do you like sugar? Don’t you?
Are you doing homework? Aren’t you?

(12) Exclamatory Sentences-ൽ
